Download our bag template to help place your design.

Remember that for competition purposes, you will submit low resolution versions of your design but if your image wins, we will need a high resolution version! If your design is a raster image, the high resolution version needs to be at least 250 dpi, saved as a JPG with Quality Setting at 12 (Maximum). Vector art is preferred.

All designs are printed on the front face of the bag, a rectangle with dimensions 15” tall and 20” wide. If your design idea involves being printed on multiple sides please contact us with specifics.

This zip file contains an Illustrator template for your high resolution vector art designs and a Photoshop template for low resolution online use of your design. (If you are creating your high resolution design in Photoshop, your document size should be 13 in. x 13 in., 250dpi.)

Design Design Design!

Check out the theme of the current competition. Using Photoshop or Illustrator, design your high resolution image.

Use a maximum number of SIX distinct colors in your design (excluding the natural colored background of the tote)
Remember the design must be your own original, unpublished work and must not contain any third-party logos, trademarks or copyright material.

After completing your high resolution design, place your artwork in the Photoshop low resolution template. Save this image as an RGB JPG with Medium to High Quality settings. This will be used as your design's online preview. We will generate necessary thumbnails from this image as well.

• Fill in the Submission Form at the bottom of this page. Include a title for your design.

• Add any comments or info you’d like to share with your fellow monster viewers!

• Upload your high resolution design.

• Upload your low resolution Preview Image (472 x 472 pixels)

Tell all your friends and fellow enviable folk in the world to come and vote on your design! The more props and positive feedback you receive, the better your chance of winning!

Declined Submissions?

Here are the most common reasons why we do not accept a design submission:

• Design is too big! - Our screenprinting capabilities limit us to a printing area of 13” x 13” and we print on one side of the bag. If an image is too large or runs over the seam of the bag, we are unable to accept it in the competitions.

• Artwork has too many colors - We can only print images with a max of 6 distinct colors. Remember, that does include black and white and any shades or gradients of color.

• Offensive or Inappropriate Submissions - GreenEyedMonster reserves the right to say “nay” to any designs that make us feel uncomfortable. We want these images to educate and empower, not offend! And we want all audiences to feel comfortable carrying our totes! Think to yourself: Would my Grandma rock this bag? If the answer is “NO!” we’ll probably feel the same way too!
